City Express

Room was small, had no closet, and furniture was minimal. Staff was friendly. I never ordered room service but room across from me had a plate and kitchenware out by the door for the two nights I was there, not sure why the staff didn't pick it up when they cleaned my room. The hallway had a funny smell but the room was fine. The wi-fi worked just fine and the A.C. was a little difficult to figure out. I was unable to try the breakfast because it was all gone by the time we got downstairs at 9 am. We didn't have time to wait due to an engagement while the staff made more so we left, the second morning we slept in past breakfast time. The on sight restaurant was good and had good service. The gym was small but good for cardio.

Cananea City Express was a very clean hotel with excellent views of the mountains and a walking trail around a huge pond with ducks. The room was very comfortable, warm, with plenty of blankets and toiletries. It did have breakfast in the morning, but in my opinion, the breakfast was skimpy. Otherwise a great stay and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The drive from the border of Arizona, Naco, to the hotel was about 35/40 minutes.

This is a clean new hotel. The prices are great. The rooms are spacious and the beds are clean and comfortable. The towels provided we're also nice and clean. They offer a delicious variety of breakfast including chilaquiles pancakes oatmeal fresh cheese yogurt fresh fruit freshly squeezed orange.theyvhave coffee tea scrambled eggs also. The staff is friendly and competent. My family and I no longer stay anywhere else but city express especially because it is conveniently surrounded by several amazing restaurants. Beautiful rooms beautiful views. Ac and heater and The in every room the showers area clean and they provide essential hygiene products complimentary. Extra blankets in the rooms. All in all excellent experience. Absolutely recommend!

Nice hotel, great location, great area, especially if you're traveling with kids. Room was nice, but right next to the elevator, so we could hear the diging of the elevator button until about 11pm pretty consistently. Breakfast was full of protein options, not just sugar. The only down side for us was the front dest staff. They did the bare minimum during check in and check out. They didnt offer any information about anything, unless we asked. Didn't even point out which way the elevator was to the room. But everything else made up for it.

Starting off with the location, I really liked that this place is more private and not really sticking to the outskirts of the roads, no problems with traffic noise, the night is completely silent unless you have annoying neighbors. Service was excellent, you can talk to these janitor/housekeepers about anything really and they'll provide you with 100% certainty and guarantee that they'll do they're job, and usually when you're in the room, they'll ask if you need or want anything. There are about 3 different kinds of rooms that I know of, first off you got a basic room for people who come alone, next there's two bed rooms (about queen sized beds) no problem with AC, lights are nice but kind of hard to spot, there's plenty of desk space and chairs and a couple of storage places for your clothes. Pretty big rooms as well, the third option is about the same as the second however they come with drawers, mini fridge, couch, and a coffee table. Overall these are really nice rooms and I 100% recommend staying here for a relatively affordable price. There are plenty of breakfast options, and I can't lie, the food isn't crazy but it will suffice and you might possibly find something that meets the eye. There is also a lake behind the hotel which is nice to look at, as well as the ducks within it, there's also some sort of running track. This place is quite literally one of the best hotels I've been at, even compared to some of the higher class hotels from popular places like Puerto Peñasco. Disclaimer: your key card only works for your certain room floor, so a room 3 card won't allow you in the 2nd floor when it comes to the elevator which is the only choice of transportation because the stairs will block you inside out. However, for people who have this problem and need to see their family in certain floors, just go to the front office and they'll probably lend you one. Also there's a vending machine with convenient snacks/items, parking is pretty decently big. There's also theater, bowling, grocery stores, and more within the area.

Very Modern nice Hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast that is offered in the morning is good. I have been to other hotels that offer a continental breakfast in Mexico and they usually don't give eggs they usually just offer cereals. The continental breakfast has chilaquilas, beans, eggs, muffins, white and wheat bread, ham, turkey, lettuce, chesse, tomatoes, fruits, yogurt, cottage cheese, granola, cereal, pancakes, milk, orange juice, coffee and water. If you want to eat something nearby there are 3 restaurants next door. There is a China House, Bambinos, and a Steak House. The China House is similar to a Panda Express here in the states, Bambinos pizza is really good, they also have wings, fried chicken and spaghetti. The Steak House is great we had ribs there and they surpassed my expectations. If you go to any of these restaurants you can park at the hotel and walk over. None of the restaruants have entrances on the parking lot side. The Entrances are in the inner side of the plaza. There is a bowling alley, Gym, Grocery store, and a movie theater all in the same plaza. There is also a Deli restaurant that will take orders to your room.

Best hotel available in Cananea. I stay here when visiting. Rooms are clean, great views of park Tamosura, delicious complimentary breakfast. But the best part is the service provided. Alejandra and her hotel staff team always take care of me and my family. I highly recommend and will continue to stay here when visiting.

Wonderful place to stay. And Mario was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Will return every time I'm in Cananea!!!!
